The M=POWERTM Program
EFA is a Connecticut based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by a concerned group of minority
energy workers and community environmental Justice advocates. EFA was formed to
address the lack of minority representation in the clean energy industry and to solve for
the lack of community access and input related to information and funding in the State of
Connecticut’s energy plans.
Our mission
Bring the proven M=POWER model to scale across 27 Financially Distressed Zones in Connecticut. We have our eye on expanding M=POWER to serve ALL 27 Environmental Justice (EJ) communities in the state of Connecticut, and in order to do so, we are seeking upwards of $55 million that we will leverage to retrofit a minimum of 100 homes in EACH of the 27 Environmental Justice communities.
